CHINA GT Championship is the highest-level national supercar event in China, exclusively certified by the authorization of the Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as "CAMF"). The 2025 season concluded successfully at the Shanghai International Circuit after four rounds and eight races. The finale showcased that CHINA GT has become one of the most popular motorsport events in China, with over 40,000 attendees during the race weekend and a total of 69.58 million viewers tuning in via live broadcasts throughout the year. It is also one of the motorsport events in China with the highest participation of luxury brands, featuring world-renowned supercar manufacturers such as Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG, Audi, and BMW.

The CHINA GT Championship plans to compete across five rounds in the 2026 season. According to the preliminary schedule, the season will officially kick off at the Shanghai International Circuit from April 17 to 19. The second round will head south to the Zhuhai International Circuit from May 22 to 24, while the third round will take place at the V1 Tianjin International Circuit from June 26 to 28. Following this, the event will return to the Shanghai International Circuit from September 4 to 6. Finally, the season will conclude at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia from November 27 to 29. The championship aims to provide drivers with a broader development platform and advancement opportunities, striving to establish the highest-level national GT race in China as an internationally influential GT event.
